Michael Dobbs
Chief Executive Officer
Michael provides the strategic vision
for Doctors Access. At an early age he discovered he had an affinity for
numbers and water. Originally from New York, Michael swam (literally) his
way through college on a swim scholarship at Southern Methodist University
in Dallas, TX. Michael’s first real job after college was working
as a data geek for Envoy in Nashville. It was at Envoy where he decided
that it was time to really kick it up a notch, so he went back to school
and received his MBA from Belmont University in Nashville. Using a class
project assignment as the model for a business plan, Michael went on to
create a successful payroll processing company. Wanting to again utilize
his crafty skills with numbers, he found the perfect opportunity in acquiring
Doctors Access in 2004. What attracted Michael to Doctors Access then,
is the same as it is now.....a bunch of happy customers.
Nicholas Adkins
Chief Operating Officer
Nicholas is the go-to-guy......the one to contact
when you feel like you really need to flash the bat signal in the sky.
He thrives on customer service and has a real taste for marketing and fun
stuff. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi (where
Brett Favre went), Nicholas moved to Nashville and has been here ever since.
Formerly (that means back when he had hair) with The Vanderbilt Health
Plans, Nicholas also went back to school and received his MBA from Belmont
University and met you know who. Nicholas went on to work with Michael
in the payroll business, and here he is again. What motivates Nicholas
every day........happy customers.
David Marler
Chief Information Officer
David is the key master......the
code writer. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point,
and highly skilled in delivering large projectiles to specified targets,
David oversees all aspects of software development. Having spent one-too-many
cold nights on the DMZ in Korea, David decided that going back to school
would be a “good thing”. After receiving his MBA from Vanderbilt
University, David worked in IT for Arthur Anderson (remember them?) and
the State of TN on several healthcare initiatives. Somewhere along the
way he met Michael, and David was cranking out zillions of lines of code
for a payroll processing company. Do you see a theme yet? A group of guys
working together to take care of........happy customers.
Nick Longo
Director of Client Services
Nick is Superman. Period. End of story. Originally from
Pennsylvania, Nick heard the call of the sea and joined the United States
Navy. After deciding that he wasn’t really destined to mop the ship’s
deck, Nick went to college at the University of Phoenix and received a
bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. One of the nicest guys
you’ll ever meet, Nick spent several years at another healthcare
software company (whom we won’t mention) before Doctors Access was
lucky enough to have him head up all of its Customer Support, New Client
Implementations and Training. Nick’s mission.......you guessed it......happy
customers.
